Rest assured that Mohegan Oil All of our products are purchased from the Amerada Hess terminal in Groton, CT. Hess refines their own products in two large refineries in the U.S. Virgin Islands and New Jersey. We maintain a specially made truck dedicated to red and white kerosene. It has two seperate compartments, two seperate reels, and two meters.........two trucks in one. We go to all this trouble in order to keep our kerosene pure. We never empty out a fuel oil truck and then put kerosene in it like lost other dealers do. If you use kerosene you know that it must be pure or your equipment won't work properly. That's why we supply many local service stations with kerosene for resale at their pumps. Our diesel fuel is also carried in a truck dedicated solely to diesel. We sell only Hess prenium diesel which has additives to help diesel engines run clean and to maintain the cetane rating of the fuel. Our fuel is winterized from12/1 to 4/1 and is premixed with kerosene to help keep the fuel from freezing. |
